October 20th is Make a Difference Day, a national day of community engagement during which people from all over the country will step out for a day of service. For the first time, Elmhurst College will host EC Make a Difference Day, an opportunity for individuals and groups to get involved in our area. Here are the details:
WHO: Campus organizations, groups, and individual students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to get involved!
WHAT: EC Make a Difference Day
WHEN: Saturday, October 20th from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm—transportation and lunch will be provided.
WHY: To get involved in the local community and contribute something meaningful.
HOW: Sign up in room 240 of the Frick Center or email Laura Wilmarth Tyna at wilmarthtynal@elmhurst.edu. Registration will close at 4:00 pm on Monday, October 15th. Call the Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement at (630) 617-3687 with questions.
